Objective
To support and maintain company objectives related to delinquency by efficiently collecting and monitoring consumer loan accounts that are over 5 days past due. This involves achieving resolution through up-to-date payment arrangements, repossession, extensions, legal actions, or charge-offs.

Essential Responsibilities
- Delinquency Management:
- Collect past-due consumer loans and credit cards that are over 5 days delinquent.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, responding to member inquiries regarding past-due accounts.
- Perform account reconciliation, review payment history, and educate members on their responsibilities and the importance of keeping accounts current.
- Problem Analysis and Solutions:
- Discover and analyze members' reasons for delinquency and propose suitable payment arrangements.
- Conduct skip tracing to locate members and/or collateral.
- Recommend accounts for legal action or repossession to the manager for approval.
- Assign accounts for field chase when necessary.
- Documentation and Claims:
- Review and follow up on letters of guarantee with insurance companies.
- File GAP claims and process cancellations of warranties when applicable.
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An Associate’s degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word.
