Clayton Services is searching for an Event Sales Executive to join a thriving company in the Houston area. The Event Sales Executive will be responsible for managing inbound leads, conducting client consultations, and closing high-value event contracts.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: Base Commission (OTE competitive with Houston event sales market)

Event Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person and virtual client consultations to present event offerings and packages
- Guide prospective clients through the full sales process from initial inquiry to signed agreement
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales cycle
- Identify client needs and recommend customized event solutions
- Present pricing, proposals, and contracts in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activity, and follow-ups within CRM
- Manage a high-volume pipeline while prioritizing high-quality client experiences
- Coordinate handoff of booked events to internal operations or production teams
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets
- Maintain strong organizational skills with scheduled follow-ups and defined next steps
- Leverage AI tools to improve processes and get feedback on sales pitches and negotiation strategies
- Other duties as assigned

Event Sales Executive Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative or high-value sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience managing a full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
- Experience with commission-based or incentive-driven compensation structures preferred
- Prior experience in event sales, hospitality, real estate, or similar industries is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
