Overview
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in ensuring the reliability and safety of aircraft electronic systems. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems and components on various helicopters.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of avionics equipment to identify issues or malfunctions.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for design modifications and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Document all work performed accurately, maintaining records for quality assurance.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or in a similar role within the aviation industry or United States military.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, soldering, and circuit analysis.
- Proficient in using meters and other precision measuring tools for accurate assessments.
- Ability to militarise avionics systems as required by specific project needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
