Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on multiple makes and model vehicles to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools such as Ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and troubleshoot faults accurately using diagnostic shop equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and technical specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Assist in installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance tasks based on operational needs.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, or related technical roles.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters or multimeters is required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring manuals accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues quickly.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy parts and work in various environmental conditions.
- Nice-to-have: experience using Ohmmeters for electrical testing; relevant certifications or training in mechanical or electrical systems.
