What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian I position at Clay County?
Clay County Missouri has an entry level opening for a full-time Overnight Custodian. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm - 1:30 am at an hourly salary of $18.08.
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to ensure that the county owned offices, buildings, facilities, vehicles, and exterior grounds are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. This position will complete routine custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning, and restocking restrooms.
The ideal candidate is legally licensed and insured to drive a motor vehicle and can drive a motor vehicle under normal and inclement weather situations. This person should also be knowledgeable of custodial operations and services, proper methods of mixing, applying and disposing of chemical solutions and products, and be able to complete assigned duties working independently under the general direction.
