Custodian

Description

Bishop Hogan Memorial School in Chillicothe, Missouri is hiring for a part-time afternoon custodial position.   The candidate hired will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe custodial practices throughout school. This position is part time averaging 25 hours per week.

· Performs functions that require use of machines, tools and equipment for the

  purpose of maintaining a clean and sanitized environment

· Replenishes restroom and other necessary supplies throughout facility as

  needed

· Provide routine cleaning for the school, including but not limited to

  dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, cleaning windows,

  toilets and sinks

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to understand and carry out instructions independently from supervisor

· Build collaborative relationships with employees and outside contractors

· Ability to work independently or with a team

Qualifications

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

· Available to work afternoons and evenings

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Related experience preferred

· Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
