What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Registered Dietitian Nutritionist position at Claxton Dietetic Solutions?
Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide PRN clinical nutrition services in long-term care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health settings in the Knoxville, TN area.
Candidates also have the opportunity to provide maternity leave coverage at approximately 24 hours per week for 8 to 12 weeks beginning in mid-September.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments and documentation
- Complete MDS assessments and care plans
- Monitor weights and nutrition risk
- Participate in nutrition at-risk meetings
- Perform meal rounds and sanitation audits
- Complete onsite visits during weekday business hours
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required
- Active state licensure or certification, as applicable
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred but not required
