What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim Registered Dietitian Nutritionist position at Claxton Dietetic Solutions?
Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services in the long-term care/rehabilitation setting. This interim position is expected to be approximately 24 hours per week, with an anticipated start date of September 15, 2026, and a duration of 8–12 weeks. A hybrid work arrangement may be considered based on facility needs.
Additional PRN opportunities may be available following the interim assignment, if desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition assessments and documentation
- Complete MDS assessments and care plans
- Monitor weights and nutrition risk
- Participate in nutrition at-risk meetings
- Perform meal rounds and sanitation audits
- Onsite visits completed during weekdays
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required
- Active state licensure or certification, as applicable
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Long-term care or geriatric experience preferred, but not required
