DESCRIPTION
Classic Stage Company is seeking a full-time season-long Company Manager to support a four-production Off-Broadway season, along with various fundraisers, events, and readings. The Company Manager will serve a vital role in welcoming artists to CSC, as well as collaborating across departments to assist in the day-to-day needs of a busy, $6 Million non-profit institution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the General Manager, the Company Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as liaison between artists, management, and production personnel for CSC’s 2026-2027 Season, including full productions, readings, and special events

Provide onsite coverage at all rehearsals and performances, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to the ongoing needs of each company.

Prepare and distribute weekly production and administrative payroll, and generate weekly union benefit, commission, and royalty reporting

Draft and process production and actor contracts

Organize bios, billing, listings for Marketing and production programs

Oversee company tickets, tech seats, and house seat requests

Manage accident reports and workers compensation claims
-
Assist in post-show talkbacks and other audience engagement events

Collaborate on planning and execution of Opening Night and other company events

Provide administrative support to the General Manager

Maintain production calendars in collaboration with Production Management, Stage Management, and Producing Assistant

Track expenses and support accounts payable/accounts receivable

Perform other additional duties as assigned by General Manager
QUALIFICATIONS

At least one year of Company Manager experience or experience in a General Management office required

Familiarity with the Off-Broadway community and working knowledge of theatrical unions (AEA, SDC, USA, Local 802) is desired

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize

Personable, with excellent customer service instincts

Creative problem-solving abilities

Ability to flexibly respond with empathy and humor to the variables that come from live theater

Knowledge of theater and the different roles played by various members of a creative and administrative company

Must be available to work onsite during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the production schedule.
COMPENSATION
The Company Manager position is full-time, seasonal/temporary exempt, non-union position with a salary of $1,350.00/week.
Position begins on or about September 8, 2026 and candidates should be available through mid-June, 2027.
