DESCRIPTION
Evan Bernardin Productions (EBP) is seeking experienced Company Managers for a range of upcoming projects, including Off-Broadway productions, readings, workshops, and special engagements. Both union and non-union candidates are welcome to apply.
Timeline: Start Date ASAP
Reporting Structure: Reports to the General Management team.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide regular updates and reports to General Management and producing teams
Serve as the primary liaison between cast, creative teams, production staff, and the producing office
Manage day-to-day company operations and internal communications
Support rehearsals, tech, previews, performances, and special events
Coordinate artist hospitality and general company needs
Support payroll processes and ensure union compliance (AEA, SDC, Local 802, etc.)
Oversee and coordinate union benefit contributions and reporting (AEA, SDC, Local 802, etc.)
Manage company travel, housing, and logistics
Support press events, opening nights, and special event logistics
Handle ticketing needs, including house seats, comps, and box office coordination
Address company concerns, assist with conflict resolution, and support a professional working environment
Track weekly expenses, process reimbursements, and support budget oversight
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Company Manager, Assistant Company Manager, Stage Manager, or in a comparable theatrical management role
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Financial literacy, including experience with payroll and expense tracking
Experience with Checks & Balances payroll software is strongly preferred but not required. Candidates with Checks & Balances experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Professional, discreet, and artist-centered approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Availability for evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours as required by the production schedule
