GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for the safe delivery and professional installation of high-quality countertops while ensuring exceptional craftsmanship, adherence to company standards, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload countertops, backsplashes, and installation supplies daily.
- Assist the Lead Install Technician with countertop installations in accordance with Classic Rock Fabrication's installation standards.
- Utilize fabrication and basic construction tools, including tape measures and other hand tools.
- Maintain DOT medical certification status (if approved as a Driver).
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and accurately document the condition of company vehicles.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns by completing the Google Maintenance Form.
- Follow all Classic Rock Fabrication installation procedures and quality standards.
- Communicate installation concerns or job site issues to the assigned Partner Support Specialist.
- Build positive relationships with customers while representing Classic Rock Fabrication in a professional and courteous manner.
- Leave every job site in better condition than it was upon arrival.
- Uphold Classic Rock Fabrication's Core Values in all daily activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the company's vision and operational goals.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be able to safely maneuver and install countertop materials weighing approximately 1,000–1,500 pounds with the assistance of lifting equipment and team members.
- Ability to operate a company-owned box truck.
Work Environment
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on the work being performed.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Six months to one year of related experience in construction, installation, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment preferred.
Experience using basic hand tools and measuring devices is beneficial.
Language Skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work with fractions and decimals.

Ability to apply sound judgment and common sense while following written and verbal instructions.
Ability to identify and resolve routine job site and installation issues while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Certificates, Licenses & Requirements
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
DOT Medical Certification required for employees approved to operate company box trucks.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment in accordance with company policies.
