PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

General Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating all material, labor, and documentation for installations. Acts as liaison between corporate staff and field staff.

Essential Job Functions

• Review tracking/scheduling system tool to ensure materials have been ordered at on time.
• Perform review of work order against builders’ selection for accuracy including change orders.
• Print work orders with installation diagram.
• Upload signed paperwork to tracking/scheduling system.
• Coordinate material delivery for arrival prior to installation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain schedule and material request dates.
• Verify material on hand for installs.
• Interface with other departmental team members to solve problems that cross departments.
• Other customer service, administrative, and clerical duties as assigned.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, and/or PeopleSoft a plus.
• Ability to interface with business partners and across departments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges.
• Ability to multi-task.
  
  

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of practical customer service in the new home construction industry preferred.
  
  

Other Requirements

• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. 5. Travel required: negligible
