What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRODUCTION COORDINATOR position at Italian Terrazzo and Ti?
This position is responsible for coordinating all material, labor, and documentation for installations. Acts as liaison between corporate staff and field staff.
Essential Job Functions
- Review tracking/scheduling system tool to ensure materials have been ordered at on time.
- Perform review of work order against builders’ selection for accuracy including change orders.
- Print work orders with installation diagram.
- Upload signed paperwork to tracking/scheduling system.
- Coordinate material delivery for arrival prior to installation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain schedule and material request dates.
- Verify material on hand for installs.
- Interface with other departmental team members to solve problems that cross departments.
- Other customer service, administrative, and clerical duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, and/or PeopleSoft a plus.
- Ability to interface with business partners and across departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges.
- Ability to multi-task.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of practical customer service in the new home construction industry preferred.
Other Requirements
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. 5. Travel required: negligible
