The Utility Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and properly store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, including sinks, walls, floors, and dish machines.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in proper working condition; report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Assist with garbage removal and cleaning of trash containers.
- Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines as outlined by local health regulations.
- Restock clean items as needed throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support kitchen staff with basic prep work and cleaning as requested.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- No experience required; training provided
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Availability of working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
