What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Manager position at Clark Resources?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the full supply chain process including procurement, production planning, inventory control, warehousing, and logistics
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives
- Lead demand planning and forecasting efforts to ensure appropriate inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements across the supply chain
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, finance, and vendors to ensure alignment and execution
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turns, and supplier performance
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met
- Oversee logistics operations including transportation, distribution, and third-party providers
- Implement and improve supply chain systems, processes, and best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including planning, procurement, and distribution
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proven ability to analyze data and make strategic, data-driven decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing or CPG environments preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP)
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
