Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with 7 years of experience to lead all maintenance and reliability efforts within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and leading a skilled maintenance team to support safe, efficient operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and experienced in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all maintenance operations including mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement long-term corrective actions
- Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling to support production goals
- Manage and develop maintenance technicians, including training, performance management, and staffing
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Partner with operations to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and throughput
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Implement and maintain CMMS systems for work orders, asset tracking, and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, TPM, and root cause analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive accountability
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food & beverage, CPG, or high-speed manufacturing environments
- PLC troubleshooting and automation experience
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM experience
- Reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) experience
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
