Assistant Controller/Vice President 150-175k Plus Bonus and Equity NYC
Highly visible role within well-known company. This position will oversee the overall accounting duties for the company. The VP will be responsible for ensuring books and records are maintained in accordance with US GAAP and ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to ensure accounting is consistent across all business units. Position will also: Assist in the preparation of the debt compliance package, review of the international accounting position papers, work closely with legal and tax, periodically review SOX documentation, review monthly actual results compared to budgets/forecasts and participate in monthly pre-close meetings. The qualified candidate must have: CPA(required), management skills, minimum of 10 years of accounting/reporting experience, similar role at Director or Assistant Controller level and must have entertainment/media industry experience for this opportunity.
Qualifications
CPA, 10 plus years of hands-on experience in the media/entertainment industry.
