The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting financial close, reporting, and analysis in a multi-entity environment. Ensures accuracy of financial data, maintains internal controls, and partners cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities across AP, AR, billing, and general ledger functions
- Lead month-end close activities including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
- Ensure accuracy of financial reporting and support balance sheet and trial balance reviews
- Assist with financial consolidation, intercompany activity, and reporting schedules
- Perform revenue, cost, and variance analysis to support operational decision-making
- Support audit requests and maintain required documentation and control compliance
- Supervise accounting staff and review work for accuracy and completeness
- Partner with internal teams to resolve system, operational, and data issues impacting financial records
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Experience supporting close, reporting, and audit processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
