Our client, a leading global wealth management firm, is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support multi-country payroll operations across a growing organization. This contract-to-perm opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams. The ideal candidate brings strong experience processing payroll in complex organizations, working within Workday and ADP, and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Location: Hybrid (3-4 days/week onsite)
• Hours: Full-Time
• Compensation: ~$40-50/hour
• Employment Type: Contract-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities:
• Support payroll operations across multiple regions including the US and Canada
• Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using Workday and ADP
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, compliant, and processed on time
• Partner with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to support day-to-day payroll operations
• Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting requirements
• Support year-end payroll activities including tax documentation and payroll reconciliations
• Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll account reconciliations to the general ledger
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and escalated payroll issues
• Assist with payroll support related to acquisitions, onboarding, and organizational changes
• Support process improvements and operational efficiencies within the payroll function
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive employee payroll data
Ideal Background:
• 3 years of payroll experience within mid-size or large organizations
• Strong experience processing end-to-end US payroll across multiple states
• Exposure to Canadian payroll and international payroll operations preferred
• Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS and ADP payroll systems
• Strong understanding of payroll tax, compliance, and payroll reporting requirements
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal stakeholders and vendors
• Experience supporting payroll during organizational growth or transitions preferred
