OVERVIEW
The Manager of Media is responsible for leading day-to-day media strategy, execution oversight, and performance optimization across client campaigns for pre-sale and post-sale. This role works closely with external media planners, buyers, analytics partners, and internal creative teams to ensure campaigns are effectively planned, launched, optimized, and reported against client goals.
This is a hands-on role designed for a media leader who is both strategic and execution-focused, with strong client-facing responsibility. Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Operations
- Serve as a key internal partner to creative, production, and strategy teams
- Lead client communications and performance discussions around media
- Stay current on media platforms, targeting capabilities, and industry best practices
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with media partners
Media Strategy & Activation
- Support and contribute to integrated, channel-agnostic media strategies aligned to client objectives and KPIs
- Work directly with media planners and buyers to manage execution across paid social, programmatic, CTV, search, and OOH
- Oversee campaign pacing, budgets, and in-flight optimizations
- Identify performance trends and recommend tactical optimizations to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Ensure media plans align with creative assets, formats, and production timelines
- Support trafficking coordination, QA, and launch readiness
Reporting & Insights
- Monitor campaign performance and delivery on an ongoing basis
- Translate data into clear insights and client-ready reporting
- Support development of dashboards, performance summaries, and optimization recommendations
- Partner with internal teams to align media learnings with future strategy
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in paid media, media strategy, or activation (agency or media company preferred)
- Hands-on experience managing multi-channel media campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance metrics
- Experience collaborating with media buyers, planners, and creative teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns
- Clear communicator with a proactive mindset
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
