Overview
We at the Clarion Inn & Suites in Aiken, SC are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team, ensuring that all areas of the property are clean, well-maintained, and meet the expectations of our guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the Front Office team to coordinate cleaning schedules around events or special requests.
- Keep rooms/hotel up to Clarion/Choice Hotels brand standards.
- Address guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends in housekeeping management and implement best practices within the team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping within a hospitality setting, minimum 2 years.
- Experience in housekeeping management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices and industrial/residential cleaning methods.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
