Housekeeping Evening Supervisor
This position at the Augusta Country Club involves oversees nighttime operations, leading a team to ensure facilities of ACC maintain high cleaning and safety standards, assigning tasks, inspecting rooms and public areas, managing supplies, and acting as a liaison with other departments and with guests. Key responsibilities include staff training, quality control, inventory management, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervision & Staff Management:
Assign tasks, direct work, and monitor the performance of the night shift housekeeping staff.
- Quality Assurance:
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards.
- Inventory & Supplies:
Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other equipment, ensuring timely ordering and distribution.
- Operational Coordination:
Serve as a liaison between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues, such as discrepant room statuses.
- Safety & Compliance:
Ensure staff follow all safety and security policies, report maintenance issues, and complete required safety training.
- Staff Development:
Assist with training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating housekeeping employees.
- Guest Service:
Respond to guest requests and complaints, providing courteous service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Documentation:
Complete required paperwork, document employee actions, and prepare reports on operations and issues.
