Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards.
- Manage floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or similar roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with custodial duties and industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items.
