Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a positive first impression for guests.
- Assist with phone calls, reservations, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality management preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential.
