Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of café menu items, ensuring quality and presentation meet standards.
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order taking and cash handling with accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Manage food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness of work areas.
- Assist with food prep tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or beverages to support quick service.
- Maintain a tidy environment by bussing tables, cleaning counters, and ensuring the café remains inviting for guests.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while practicing basic math skills for accurate sales processing.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or retail environments is a plus but not required; enthusiasm counts most!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities.
