Are you looking for a fast-paced kitchen role with an upbeat, supportive crew? The Barn Cafe is seeking a high-energy, positive Kitchen Team Member to join our team! Shift Schedule & Availability:
- Days: Tuesday through Saturday (The cafe is closed Sundays & Mondays!)
- Hours: Shifts run between 6:30 AM and 3:30 PM
- Hours per week: Part-time (20–35 hours per week)
- Reliability note: Punctuality and consistent attendance are absolute requirements for this role.
Core Responsibilities:
- Team Operations: Maintain the dish station, answer the phone, and run fresh food out to guests.
- Food Preparation: Learn and efficiently prepare a high volume of breakfast and lunch foods.
- Kitchen Prep: Perform essential daily prep work, including slicing meats, cutting fresh vegetables, and cooking bacon.
- Station Support: Jump onto the line quickly to support your teammates when ticket volume spikes.
- Front-End Cross-Training: Learn front-of-house operations to cross-train as a cashier and barista, ensuring you can confidently step up and support the front counter during transitions or peak rushes.
