Clare Primary School, Clare Middle School, and Beaverton Elementary School
Reports To
SPARKS Site Coordinator
Work Days
After school, 2.75 hours per day (positions available are 2-days/week and 4-days/week)
Wages
$32.60 per hour
Starting Date
As soon as possible, with pre-service orientation prior to start.
Job Objective
The Afterschool Instructor will generally work with sessions of 15 students or less and will plan and deliver engaging, hands-on academic enrichment activities that align with school-day learning and support student achievement. Site leaders will assist the Afterschool Instructor in creating appropriate program session activities and projects based on student interest and program goals.
Qualifications
Valid teaching certificate required. Experience working with students in corresponding grade levels. Experience in differentiating instruction and leading project-based academic activities. Positive classroom management. As a condition of employment employee must pass a criminal background check.
