Role
We are seeking a high-energy Business Development Professional to identify and secure new commercial opportunities. You will be the face of Clancy-Cullen to corporate decision-makers, providing tailored solutions for complex relocations, final-mile delivery, and long-term warehousing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition: Proactively hunt for new commercial and industrial accounts through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with property managers, office administrators, and corporate facility directors.
- Solution Selling: Develop customized proposals for diverse services, including office moves, data center relocations, and specialized library services.
- Market Strategy: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity within the Greater NYC commercial real estate and logistics landscape.
- Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools to track leads and provide accurate sales forecasting to leadership.
Standard Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in business development or B2B sales, preferably within the moving, logistics, or commercial real estate industries.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-suite executives.
- Negotiation: Strong closing skills and the ability to navigate complex contract negotiations.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the NYC/Tri-State commercial market.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Attributes: A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a "Strive for Five Stars" commitment to customer service.
Compensation & Potential Earnings
In compliance with New York State Pay Transparency Law, we provide a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role:
- Highly Competitive Industry Compensation
- Commission & Bonuses: This position includes an uncapped commission structure, with realistic first-year variable earnings of $20,000 – $60,000 based on performance.
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
