A Shipping and Receiving Professional is responsible for maintaining the flow of goods in and out of a facility. This role ensures that incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and recorded, while outgoing orders are properly packaged, labeled, and shipped on time. Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.Maintain accurate records of shipping, receiving, damages, discrepancies and returns.Report and resolve any shipment discrepancies or damagesReceive, inspect, and verify out going shipments against Sales Orders.Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to ensure timely pick up of outgoing shipments.Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to Company and carrier requirements.§ UPS/FedEx: small package shipping§ LTL Truck: pallet ground shippingMaintain a clean, organized, and safe hazard-free shipping/receiving area. Skills & Qualifications:Attention to detail, accuracy and follow-up with Company team members and Vendors.Basic computer skills. Prior inventory management/warehouse skills beneficial. Ability to lift and move packages as required. Prior Forklift training and operation beneficial.Strong organizational and communication skills to work closely with Production, Inventory Management and Customer Service.High school diploma or equivalent is required.Prior experience in shipping, receiving or warehouse operations is beneficial. Hazardous Shipping Certification beneficial, but not required.
