Location: San Jose, CA (On-Site, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $75,000 base performance incentives (OTE $130,000–$150,000)
Overview:
Our client is a growing, relationship-driven organization looking to add 1–2 high-energy recruiters to their San Jose office. This is not a passive, sit-behind-the-desk recruiting role. They need true “hunters” who are equally strong at building meaningful relationships in the community and delivering consistent hiring results.
This person will act as a concierge to both candidates and internal stakeholders, owning the full recruiting lifecycle while becoming a visible and trusted presence in the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting with a focus on sourcing, engaging, and closing high-quality candidates
- Consistently hit a target of ~15 hires per year
- Build and maintain strong community partnerships (local organizations, universities, networking groups, etc.)
- Serve as a relationship manager and “face of the office” for candidates
- Proactively source talent through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Create and execute strategies to build long-term candidate pipelines
- Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level candidate experience from first interaction through onboarding
- Maintain strong follow-up cadence and communication with all candidates and stakeholders
- Partner closely with internal leadership on hiring needs, market feedback, and process improvements
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of recruiting, sales, or relationship-driven experience
- Proven ability to “hunt” and generate candidates through outreach and networking
- Highly outgoing, personable, and confident in building new relationships
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills; does not let things fall through the cracks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment
- Self-starter with a high level of accountability and drive
- Experience in community engagement, partnerships, or event-based networking is a plus
