The Inventory Supervisor will oversee day-to-day inventory management and warehouse operations within a fast-paced, project-driven environment. This role is both hands-on and leadership-focused, responsible for supervising a team while actively supporting warehouse operations including order fulfillment, inventory control, and ERP transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, and unloading
- Supervise and coordinate team members, including union and temporary staff
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking for raw materials and finished goods within D365
- Execute and monitor inventory transactions, transfers, and reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including misplaced or lost inventory
- Support production by responding to requests and participating in pre-production meetings
- Maintain organization and optimize warehouse space for efficiency
- Ensure all activities align with safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Operate forklift and other equipment as needed (certification provided)
- Communicate effectively via phone and email with internal teams
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve processes and performance
- Assist with additional warehouse and inventory-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Prior experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
- Experience supervising or leading a team in a warehouse environment preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
- Forklift and lift equipment experience required (certification provided)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Additional Details:
- Primarily forklift-based work throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Work performed in a warehouse environment with regular interaction across teams
