Consulting Director – GBS & Finance Transformation | Executive | US | $182,800–$247,300
A globally recognized IT and consulting firm is seeking an experienced Consulting Director to drive growth in its Global Business Services (GBS) and Finance Transformation practice across North America.
What this role involves:
This is a consulting sales and advisory leadership role. You will advise clients on establishing and optimizing Global Business Services centers, design and implement shared-service operating models across P2P, O2C, and R2R processes, and own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to deal closure. Your buyers are CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance executives. You will shape proposals, build thought leadership in the F&A domain, and partner with global practice and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution.
AI and digital innovation are a growing part of the mandate — leveraging intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and LLMs to modernize finance processing and shared services delivery.
What we're looking for:
- Background in GBS, Shared Services, or Finance Transformation consulting — ideally from a Big 4 or Tier 1 management consulting firm
- Proven track record of consultative selling and closing large, complex deals with long sales cycles
- Deep understanding of shared-service operating model design and Digital Finance transformation
- Strong familiarity with ERP platforms — SAP, Oracle, or Workday — and RPA/AI tooling
- Ability to build and maintain C-suite relationships, particularly within finance functions
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CA designation preferred
- Full-time permanent W2, US-based, with willingness to travel for client engagements
