Millwright Superintendent (Traveling)

CL Construction is hiring an experienced Millwright Superintendent to lead field crews on agricultural and industrial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows millwright work, values safety, and can keep jobs moving efficiently in the field.

What You’ll Do
- Lead daily field operations for millwright crews on active job sites
- Plan and coordinate manpower, schedules, and work sequencing
- Enforce safety standards, conduct inspections, and lead jobsite safety meetings
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and project plans
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and leadership
- Track labor hours, equipment use, and material needs
- Solve field issues quickly to keep projects on schedule
- Travel approximately 50% (overnight travel includes per diem)
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of millwright or industrial construction experience
- 1 year in a leadership role (Foreman, Lead, or Superintendent)
- Experience working in ag, industrial, or commercial facilities
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and crew supervision
- Ability to read blueprints and coordinate field execution
- Valid driver’s license
- AWS welding certification preferred (stick welding experience a plus)
- Comfortable using basic software (timekeeping, scheduling, email)
