Primary Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
- Plan, schedule, and manage tank cleaning projects across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT)
- Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance, and logistics for confined space and hazardous waste operations
- Recruit, train, and supervise field crews and supervisors
- Conduct safety briefings, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution
- Develop project scopes, estimates, and proposals
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor budgets, job costing, and profitability metrics
- Approve expenditures and manage vendor relationships
- Report division performance to senior leadership
- Maintain accurate records of job activities, safety incidents, and regulatory documentation
- Ensure proper waste handling, manifesting, and disposal procedures
- Coordinate with internal compliance teams for audits and inspections

Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning or environmental services
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Experience with tank cleaning operations, above ground storage tanks, centrifuge operations, vacuum trucks, hydroblasting, and confined space entry

Work Environment
- Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays. Travel to customers and other Miller sites as needed.
- Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
