HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

An Inside Sales professional at CK Supply is responsible for answering incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner, assisting customers with their problems and questions, and maintaining customer relationships. They solicit new accounts, work collaboratively with the Territory Manager to boost sales and profitability, and prepare, organize, and execute proposals and quotations. The role also involves attending and participating in customer service meetings, performing counter sales duties as needed, and completing all other assigned tasks.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answers incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assists customers with problems/questions.
• Maintains customer parameters with assigned Territory Manager.
• Monitors account receivable information for assigned team.
• Maintains and discusses pricing of products with assigned Territory Manager.
• Solicits new accounts.
• Works with Territory Manager to increase sales and profitability.
• Prepares, organizes, and executes all proposals and quotations as agreed upon with assigned Territory Manager.
• Attends and participates in customer service meetings.
• Performs duties of Counter Sales as needed.
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least 1 year of experience working in a position with same or similar duties.
• Must have excellent communication skills in person and by phone.
• Ability to handle diverse individuals and situations in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, count and to write accurately to complete necessary reports.
• Ability to operate cash register and credit card machines while performing duties of Counter Sales.
• Must be computer literate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing, sitting and/or walking up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift and reach overhead to stock store-room merchandise while performing duties of Counter Sales.
• Ability to climb a ladder to stock store-room merchandise while performing duties of Counter Sales.
• Both handedness 70%-100% job cycle time
• Moderate visual depth perception
• Lifting, pushing, or pulling items up to and greater than 50 pounds with good body mechanics and with designated equipment
