Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift.
- Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality nursing care.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Help maintain appropriate staffing and nursing coverage.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with nursing standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
- Address clinical and operational concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Connecticut RN license in good standing.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and clinical skills.
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience is beneficial.
