Nurse Practitioner – Venous & Vascular Care

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts | 40 hours/week

Travel: Up to 25% between locations

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality outpatient patient care focused on venous insufficiency and vascular-related conditions. The NP will work collaboratively with physicians and clinical teams to assess patients, develop treatment plans, support procedures, and ensure continuity of care.

This is a day-shift, four-day workweek opportunity with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical histories.
• Evaluate patient conditions and order or review appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Identify abnormal findings and communicate concerns to the supervising physician.
• Develop and implement individualized patient management plans under physician direction.
• Provide care related to venous insufficiency and support multimodality treatment strategies.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, surgical, and vascular laboratory teams.
• Assist with medical procedures as directed by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, recommendations, and follow-up care.
• Communicate with patients by phone as needed and coordinate ongoing care.
• Prepare letters of medical necessity when required for insurance purposes.
• Participate in scheduled follow-ups, including approximately 1-month, 6-month, and annual visits.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Support training and onboarding of clinical staff as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, center initiatives, and community outreach events.
• Follow all infection-control, safety, universal precaution, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Perform other clinical or administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Current, active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Minimum 2 years of prior Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel between the Rehoboth Beach, DE and Salisbury, MD locations.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong commitment to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
