Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Prioritize safe work planning and partner with site safety teams to identify and resolve hazards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and lead regular owner coordination and reporting meetings.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules; establish objectives, performance standards, and monitor progress.
- Coordinate communication among clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Manage project financials including forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, profitability, subcontractor costs, and budget performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor agreements and project requirements.
- Conduct and oversee weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Prepare, price, submit, negotiate, and manage subcontracts and change orders.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain alignment with project goals.
- Lead project closeout activities and ensure timely, high-quality turnover to the client.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years of project management experience in heavy industrial construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical, safety, schedule, cost, and financial aspects of large construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, planning, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
