In this role, you will oversee construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $50 million, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget. Working closely with superintendents, you will manage all aspects of project execution to drive smooth operations and successful outcomes. What You’ll Do
- Prioritize safe work planning and collaborate with site safety leaders to identify and mitigate hazards
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and lead regular coordination and reporting meetings
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance
- Ensure consistent and effective communication across clients, A-E representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, invoicing, cash flow, profitability, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor agreements
- Coordinate and lead weekly subcontractor meetings
- Estimate, price, submit, and negotiate subcontracts and change orders
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects aligned with plans
- Oversee project closeout, ensuring timely and high-quality completion and handover
What You’ll Bring
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead teams and resolve conflicts
- Self-motivated leadership style with a focus on mentoring and team development
- Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage all aspects of a project, including technical, safety, scheduling, cost, and financial performance
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Autodesk Build, and Viewpoint Vista
- Experience in the automotive sector is preferred
- Experience in heavy civil construction is a plus
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required
- 7 years of experience in heavy industrial project management
