Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Position Summary
Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its outpatient orthopedic and spine rehabilitation team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility activities.
- Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, and heat/cold therapy.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Document patient progress accurately in the EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Active Texas PTA license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred.
- New graduates with strong orthopedic clinical experience are welcome to apply.
