Job Summary:
Provide administrative support to the Commercial Lending team by assisting with commercial loan processing, portfolio management, documentation, and customer service. Serve as a liaison between loan officers, internal departments, and customers while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Commercial Loan Officers with loan portfolio management and daily administrative tasks.
- Prepare, review, and maintain commercial loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate loan closings, funding, advances, pay-downs, wire transfers, and account transfers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide loan servicing support.
- Maintain loan files, monitor exceptions, and assist with overdraft reviews.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other lending-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver professional customer service and collaborate with internal teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Banking or commercial lending/credit experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
- Strong typing, data entry, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Must be able to pass background and credit checks.
