Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with staff and family to gather background information prior to plan development
- Create individualized behavior support plans using ABA and verbal behavior strategies
- Analyze data to identify patterns and triggers of problem behaviors
- Observe individuals in relevant settings to assess behavior functions
- Define and measure target behaviors using objective, data-driven systems
- Design interventions incorporating antecedents, teaching methods, and consequences
- Ensure interventions align with the function of the behavior and promote positive change
- Train staff in person on plan implementation, providing opportunities for Q&A and feedback
- Monitor behavior data monthly and document progress
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proven experience in ABA and behavior support planning preferred
