Responsibilities
- Gather raw data from primary and secondary sources using tools such as SQL, APIs, and web scraping.
- Perform extensive data cleaning to ensure accuracy, handling missing values and inconsistencies.
- Use statistical techniques (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing) to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Present findings and data-driven recommendations to management to support KPIs and business growth.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to automate data collection and improve database performance and integrity.
- Contribute to a culture of trust, integrity, and collaboration.
- Understand and uphold Cityside Fiber's core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 3 years of experience developing key datasets and building visuals to represent complex data.
- Expert knowledge of database systems and data extraction techniques, including SQL.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI, including DAX.
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, R, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with data security best practices and data governance principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
