Responsibilities
- Assist with posting open positions, reviewing incoming applications, conducting initial candidate screenings, and coordinating interview scheduling.
- Support the preparation of new hire paperwork, onboarding packets, and system setup coordination; ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for incoming employees.
- Help facilitate new hire orientation sessions, including logistics coordination, materials preparation, and day-of support.
- Audit, organize, and maintain HR supply and equipment inventory; coordinate restocking and ensure proper documentation of assets.
- Assist in drafting and distributing the company's internal employee newsletter, gathering content from various departments and keeping employees informed and engaged.
- Help plan and coordinate company-sponsored employee events, including logistics, communications, and day-of execution.
- Maintain and update employee files and records, assist with data entry and HRIS updates, and support the HR team with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Handle all employee information with strict confidentiality and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Contribute to a culture of trust, integrity, and collaboration.
- Understand and uphold Cityside Fiber's core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do.
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior administrative, HR, or office support experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Google Workspace a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and priorities without close supervision.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine interest in people and HR functions.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the temporary engagement.
