Finance Director

Finance Director Threshold Group New York City Full Time Compensation: $90,000 to $114,000 Annually Includes health insurance and a 401(k) Government Government Relations Other Threshold Group is seeking a senior-level fundraising professional to lead day-to-day development efforts across a portfolio of Democratic campaigns at the local, state, and federal levels. This role will play a central part in shaping and executing fundraising strategies, managing multiple clients, and contributing to business development and growth initiatives for Threshold Group. The position is in-person at our office in midtown Manhattan. Responsibilities for this role will include: Leading the development and execution of fundraising strategies for individual clients and campaigns. Managing day-to-day fundraising efforts for multiple candidates. Collaborating closely with candidates during call time, providing coaching, preparation, and follow-up. Cultivating and soliciting donors directly, including high-dollar prospects. Overseeing and maintaining accurate and organized donor databases and fundraising pipelines (NGP, ActBlue, Numero, etc.). Drafting compelling fundraising copy, including call scripts, event invitations, follow-up emails, and digital content. Contributing to the firm’s business development and client retention by identifying opportunities for growth. Supervising junior fundraising staff and consultants, delegating responsibilities, and providing mentorship and feedback. Qualifications for this role are: At least three cycles of campaign fundraising experience, including significant responsibility for fundraising strategy and execution. Proven experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing fundraising plans that meet or exceed goals. Proficiency with fundraising platforms such as NGP, ActBlue, and Numero. Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially in donor-facing contexts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with long hours when needed. Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on execution. Availability to travel as needed for events, meetings, and client support.
