- Skillfully prepare and submit payroll tax returns, including quarterly and annual filings.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring seamless and compliant payroll systems and processes.
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.
- Be the go-to person for clients' payroll tax inquiries, providing swift and accurate responses.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Payroll Operations and Accounting, to streamline payroll tax processes.
- Assist in payroll audits and respond effectively to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with using the UKG Kronos timekeeping system.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in payroll or payroll tax processing and compliance.
- Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Proficiency in utilizing payroll software and tax filing systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Holding a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
