What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at City of Wildwood?
The Customer Service Rep. will collect utility payments and handling customer questions at the Physical Environment counter at City Hall. The Customer Service Rep will also be responsible for opening and posting payments that are received through the U.S. mail. The Customer Service Rep. may also perform accounting functions.
- Perform a wide variety of routine and complex clerical functions
- Perform basic accounting functions
- Collects and posts payments received from customers
- Opens and posts payments received through the U.S. mail
- Provides customer assistance by answering inquiries from the public at the front counter in City Hall
- All other tasks as requested
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices
- Two (2) years of increasingly responsible related experience
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively handle stressful situations
- General knowledge of accounting preferred
- Valid Florida Driver's License
Salary : $34,653 - $38,118
