Splash Dayz Water Park is preparing for the 2026 season, so we are now accepting applications! Splash Dayz is a great place to work for anyone ages 16 and up, and there are many positions available this year.

The Lifeguard Team Member reporting to the Lifeguard Lead and/or Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests at Splash Dayz. This includes monitoring the pool, slide, or water attractions, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards should have strong swimming skills and be able to rescue and perform first aid in the event of an emergency. They should also have a strong understanding of water safety and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests. In addition to these duties, the lifeguard is responsible for setting up the waterpark in the morning and closing it down in the evening. A normal shift is 4 ½ hours but can be a full day (9-10 hours). Expect to work between 27 hours and 54 hours a week.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safety conscious and responsible;
- Ensure the park and all ride areas are clean and presentable to guests;
- Understand, communicate, monitor, and enforce water park and lifeguard rules;
- Address Guest concerns as they arise in the assigned location;
- Initiate emergency procedures when necessary;
- Observe and assist with loading and unloading of guests safely in and out of rides;
- Deliver CPR, spinal immobilization, and other first-aid procedures as needed;
- Attend weekly-scheduled in-service training sessions;
- Testing of all slides/rides as required;
- Cleaning of pools, tables, ground, and outside seating areas as needed and required;
- Setting up & closing down outside areas of Splash Dayz (inside areas if instructed) at the beginning and end of the day;
- Responsible for adhering to Splash Dayz uniform and grooming guidelines;
- Observe all safety rules and procedures;
- Clock in and out each day to receive correct pay and approve time daily in the payroll system.
