Splash Dayz Water Park is preparing for the 2026 season, so we are now accepting applications! Splash Dayz is a great place to work for anyone ages 16 and up, and there are many positions available this year.

The Front Gate Team Member, reporting to the Front Gate Lead, is responsible for greeting guests as they enter the park, checking tickets, passes, and guest bags, and verifying that all guests meet the requirements for entry (such as age or height restrictions). They may also be responsible for answering questions and providing information about Splash Dayz and its attractions, as well as handling any issues or complaints from guests. Front Gate Team Members are also responsible for completing designated tasks assigned by the Supervisor in the morning and the evening. A normal shift is 4 1/2 hours but can be a full day (9 to 10 hours). Expect to work between 27 hours and 54 hours a week.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and greet all guests, provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced and high-volume environment;
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) cash registers, receive money, and return accurate change to customers;
- Maintain an organized cash register for sales;
- Operate a metal detector wand on guests before they enter the park;
- Responsible for receiving tickets and end-of-day counting of tickets;
- Complete end-of-day cashier paperwork;
- Understand park policies and the Season Pass program in order to answer questions from guests;
- Perform clean-up duties of all kinds beginning, during, and end of the shift;
- Address guest concerns as they arise;
- Set up correct signage for Cabanas and Luxury Loungers daily;
- Set up Front Gate and Season Pass areas before the operational day;
- Close down and properly put away Front Gate and Season Pass areas at the end of the operational day;
- Initiate emergency procedures when necessary;
- Search bags and coolers per park policy;
- Observe all safety rules and procedures;
- Responsible to adhering to Splash Dayz uniform and grooming guidelines;
- Clock in and out each day to receive correct pay and approve time daily in the payroll system.
