The City of Westfield is seeking an applicant to fill the Parks and Recreation Department’s 2026 Fall programs. (Sept.-Nov.) These positions will be posted on August 27th and will close on September 7th. These positions are considered seasonal and are not eligible for benefits.
Adult Softball Supervisors: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Supervising men’s and women’s adult softball league. Evenings or weekends. Flexible
schedule. Experience preferred. Fall season - $16.00 hr.
Field Hockey Instructor: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Duties include teaching girls and supervising children in the sport of field hockey. Thorough knowledge of field hockey and prior field hockey instructional experience preferred - $18.00 hr.
Pickleball Instructor: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Duties include teaching and supervising adults and children the sport of pickleball in an instructional setting. Thorough knowledge of pickleball and prior pickleball instructional experience preferred. - $16.00 hr.
Tennis Instructor: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Duties include teaching and supervising children in the sport of tennis. Thorough knowledge of tennis and prior tennis instructional experience preferred. Fall position - $ 23.00 hr.
Soccer Supervisors: Duties include supervising children in the sport of Soccer ages 4-6. Experience working with children, strong knowledge of soccer and prior soccer instructional experience preferred. Saturday mornings, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings - $15.00.
