What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aide II (Manhattan Casino - Concessions/Porter/Parking Attendant) position at City of St. Petersburg?
This is part-time work, at the Manhattan Casino, involving responsible, highly visible public contact providing event-related services. Work involves directing and guiding patrons to appropriate parking areas, barback event preparation, preparations of drinks, facilitating cash and credit card transactions, event set-up and break down, and trash removal. Additionally, employees in this position will assist with setting up and taking down facility equipment, tables and chairs, decorations, and other event related items. This position requires a flexible schedule and will be assigned to work nights, weekends, and holidays that vary with seasons and events.
Salary: $17.13 - $20.56 Hourly

To Qualify
Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:
- Have customer service experience.
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, occasionally in inclement weather.
- Be able to lift beverage cases, tubs of ice, and similar food and beverage service items.
- Be available and able to work a very flexible schedule.
- Be able to promptly report to duty at the time and place scheduled, present a professional appearance (including appropriate uniform and personal hygiene), maintain composure and professionalism during stressful situations, and communicate tactfully, clearly and concisely with patrons and fellow employees.
